Job Title: Retail Associate

 Reports To: Store Manager
Position Type: Part-time (Monday-Sunday)
Job Overview:
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Retail Sales Associate to join our team part-time. You’ll assist customers with selecting needlepoint projects and fibers, provide helpful project advice, and ensure the store remains organized, inviting, and inspiring. Ideal for someone who loves people, has a creative streak, enjoys working in a calm, community-driven environment, and loves needlepoint. Availability must be weekday between the hours of 9am-5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer questions, provide perspective, and make needlepoint feel accessible and welcoming.
- Execute core responsibilities like assisting customers select thread, projects, accessories, taping canvases, light cleaning, restocking, and assisting the Store Manager with tasks as needed.Â
- Ensure everyone walking through the door has a positive experience and leaves wanting to return.
Requirements:
- Passionate & knowledgeable needlepointer
- Experience with customer service and/or a love for customer interaction and socializing
- Ability to multi-task
- Extreme attention to detailÂ
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive and upbeat solution-oriented problem solver
