About the Founders
Mackenzie Reimer and Kathryn Cannon were introduced through their (now) fiancés in 2019. The pair bonded quickly over a love for needlepoint, racquet sports, coastal upbringings, and passion for local businesses! In 2021, they opened Third Coast Stitches in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. A nod to their East and West Coast roots, TCS has quickly grown into a community of creators anda cornerstone of the needlepoint community. Mackenzie and Kathryn live in Chicago, IL with their partners and many, many unfinished needlepoint projects.
